Mark Winfield

Mark Winfield is a Professor at York University’s Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change (EUC), serving as MES Program Coordinator, MES/JD Program Coordinator, and Co-Chair of the Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI). He holds a PhD, MA, and BA in Political Science and Science & Technology Studies from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on sustainable energy transitions, climate change policy, environmental governance, and Ontario’s political economy. He has advised governmental bodies and contributed to policy frameworks in Ontario and Quebec.
