Jose Etcheverry is an Associate Professor at York University's Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change, serving as Co-Chair of the Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) and Director of the International Renewable Energy Academy (IREA). He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Toronto, an MA in Geography & Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto, and a BA (Honours) in Geography & Environmental Studies from York University.
