Mark S. Morrisson is Professor of English and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the College of the Liberal Arts at The Pennsylvania State University. His research spans British, Irish, and American modernist literature, periodical studies, literature-science interactions, and twentieth-century Western esotericism, with recent focus on British surrealist Ithell Colquhoun and occultism in genre fiction.

He has received the College of the Liberal Arts Service Award, Class of 1933 Humanities Award, and Eisenhower Teaching Award. An interdisciplinary educator, he co-teaches with chemistry faculty and has enhanced international partnerships in Ireland and East Asia. He previously edited Refiguring Modernism and co-edited the Journal of Modern Periodical Studies, and served as President of the Modernist Studies Association.
