Mark Perry

Mark Perry is a Full-Time Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice at California State University, Stanislaus since 2010. He holds an MA in Criminal Justice (CSU Stanislaus, 2008), MPA in Public Management (CSU Hayward, 1996), and BS in Criminal Justice Administration (CSU Hayward, 1993). His research focuses on Police-Citizen Interaction, Juvenile Justice, and Law Enforcement Training. He has taught over 20 criminal justice courses including Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Research Methods.

Research interests include media studies related to criminal justice, juvenile justice policy, and law enforcement training methodologies. Active in professional organizations like the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and Western Association of Criminal Justice.

Recipient of multiple grants and awards including the Environmental Crime Fellowship ($1000), Faculty Appreciation Recognition (2018/2019), and McNair Scholars Program mentorship roles. Served on Criminal Justice Advisory/Internship Committees and contributed to community surveys on public safety.
