About
Associate Professor Mark Hinder is affiliated with the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Tasmania. His research focuses on understanding how age-related changes in brain structure and function impact motor and cognitive abilities in older adults. He employs transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and neuroimaging techniques to investigate neural connectivity and plasticity, particularly in relation to dementia and stroke recovery.

Research Interests: His work explores age-related declines in motor/cognitive function, neuroanatomical biomarkers for dementia, and therapeutic interventions using brain stimulation.
