Mark Herman is Professor of Instruction and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Rochester. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Virginia Tech in 2008 under George Hagedorn. His research spans mathematical physics, functional analysis, combinatorial geometry, graph theory, and operations research. He teaches a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability, Operations Research, and Complex Analysis.
