Mark Hauser

Mark Hauser is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University, specializing in historical archaeology. He received his PhD from Syracuse University in 2001. His research investigates slavery, colonialism, and environmental interactions across the Caribbean and South India/Indian Ocean regions using methods like GIS, archaeological survey, and compositional analysis.
