Mark Gothoni serves as Professor of Violin at Berlin University of the Arts within the Faculty of Music's Julius Stern Institute. An internationally acclaimed Finnish violinist, he maintains an active dual career as performer and educator across five continents.
His artistic practice centers on advanced violin technique, chamber ensemble development, and orchestral leadership. Performance highlights include solo appearances at Berlin Philharmonie, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Lincoln Center New York, and major festivals from Kuhmo (Finland) to Casals Festival (Puerto Rico).
