Mark G. Allen is Adjunct Professor at Georgia Tech's College of Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He co-directs the Center for MEMS and Microsystems Technologies, leading research in MEMS fabrication and commercialization.
He co-founded Redeon (1999) and CardioMEMS (2001), with the latter developing FDA-recognized wireless implantable sensors. As Senior Vice Provost for Research and Innovation (2007-present), he oversees Georgia Tech's research portfolio and technology transfer.
