Mark Fleming

Mark Fleming, PhD, is a Professor specializing in critical approaches to social and structural determinants of health, housing/homelessness, mental health/substance use crisis response, and healthcare services/technology. His work combines ethnographic, community-based participatory, and mixed methods.

His research explores intersections between social inequality, criminal justice systems, health disparities, and urban policy, with a focus on ethnography and stress-related chronic disease mechanisms.
