Mark Devenney is a Professor of Critical Theory at the University of Brighton, affiliated with the School of Humanities and Social Science. He is also the Co-Director of the Centre for Applied Philosophy, Politics and Ethics. His academic career spans over three decades, with a PhD in Critical Theory and Post-Marxism from the University of Essex (1998).
Devenney’s research focuses on contemporary critical theories, radical politics, and the intersections of continental philosophy, populism, and environmental politics.
