Mark Colgan is a Professor of Mathematics at Taylor University, where he has served for twenty years. His roles include teaching calculus, statistics, and mathematics education courses, as well as holding leadership positions such as department chair and associate dean. He has contributed to the development of the Euler Science Center and is dedicated to fostering student engagement through classroom activities and projects.

- BA in Mathematics & Computer Science and Christian Education from Anderson University
His research and teaching focus on mathematics education, statistics, and pedagogical strategies to enhance student community and learning outcomes. He has presented on innovative teaching methods and served as a CTLE Fellow.

Outside academia, he is actively involved in Bible quizzing and enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains.
