Mark Cammack is Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School and the Irwin R. Buchalter Professor of Law, specializing in comparative law and the Indonesian legal system. After developing expertise in Indonesia during college, he studied law at the University of Wisconsin (JD cum laude) and conducted field research as a Fulbright Fellow in Jakarta.
His research examines judicial institutions and procedures, including the American jury system, criminal procedure rules, and modernization of Indonesia's Islamic judiciary. Professor Cammack has served as a UN monitor for human rights trials in East Timor and currently advises PhD candidates at the University of Washington's Asian Law Center.
