Mark Bazil is a Professor of Advertising at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2005. He holds an M.F.A. and M.A. in Illustration from SCAD, a B.F.A. in Graphic Communication/Art Direction from the College for Creative Studies, and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Michigan State University.
His research and professional focus integrates advertising creativity with visual storytelling, leveraging his dual background in art and science. He has over 140 advertising awards, including Clios, Emmys, and Telly Awards, and has served on prominent advisory boards such as Adobe Creative Professionals, McGraw Hill Publications, and Home Depot's Social Answering Team.
