Mark Bartholomew is a Professor and Vice Dean for Research and Faculty Development at the University at Buffalo School of Law. He specializes in intellectual property, law and neuroscience, law and technology, legal history, and advertising law. His research bridges legal theory with empirical studies, particularly leveraging neuroscience to reinterpret traditional legal concepts.
Bartholomew holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. Before academia, he clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, practiced law in California, and served as deputy county counsel.
