Mariusz DRZEWICKI

Professor Mariusz Drzewicki is a distinguished pianist and educator at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź, serving as Head of the Piano Department. He studied under Professor Tadeusz Chmielewski at his alma mater and later refined his artistry at masterclasses with Wiktor Mierżanow and Rudolf Buchbinder.

• Active performer in Poland and abroad (Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Austria, Sweden, Latvia, Great Britain, Norway, Italy, USA).
• Collaborated with the Latvian National Ballet and Małgorzata Potocka's Sabat Theatre.
• Premiered Zdzisław Szostak's Concertino for Violin, Piano, and Symphony Orchestra with Łódź Philharmonic Orchestra.

His recordings include Chopin’s works (1999 album), a 2010 Chopin DVD, and Isaac Albeniz’s piano compositions (2012 CD). He has served on juries of international piano competitions and reviewed academic theses.
