Marius Johansen is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Community Medicine and Global Health, University of Oslo (2020-2024). He holds affiliations with the Faculty of Medicine and serves as the editor of Metodebok for seksuell helse, Norway's leading medical handbook on contraception, STIs, and SRHR. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Seks og samfunn (Norway’s largest sexual health clinic) from 2011–2020, and worked at Bærum Hospital’s gynecology department and Lillestrøm Medical Center as a general practitioner. Johansen is also a topic expert for venereology in the Store norske leksikon since 2016.
Research Interests: His work focuses on SRHR, gynecological disorders (e.g., endometriosis, menstrual irregularities), STIs, hormonal contraception, and epidemiological methods using health registers.
