Marion Patti

Dr. Marion Patti is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Southern Mississippi, with over 15 years of healthcare experience. She specializes in simulation-based nursing education, health disparities, and pharmacology, while actively contributing to research on autoimmune diseases and patient quality of life.

• Educational Background: DNP (2019) and BSN (2010) from University of Mississippi Medical Center

Her graduate research focused on the relationship between antithyroid antibodies and quality of life in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis patients, culminating in a 2021 systematic review published in JBI Evidence Synthesis. She coordinates a grant project with the Edward Street Fellowship Health Clinic, funded by the Asbury Foundation and the University’s Institute for Disability Studies. As a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society member and Mississippi Nurses Association delegate, she remains actively engaged in professional networks.
