Mario P. Casa de Calvo

Dr. Mario P. Casa de Calvo is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Dean of Liberal Arts/Life Science at the University of North Texas at Dallas. As the Designer and Coordinator of UNT-Dallas' Psychology Program since 2014, he shapes academic initiatives and curriculum.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, Texas Tech University

Research Interests: Spanning Social Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, his work explores behavioral confirmation (self-fulfilling prophecies), identity negotiation, nonconscious mimicry, terror management theory, organizational identity, commitment, job satisfaction, and leadership.

Dr. Casa de Calvo has published in psychological journals and presented research at local, national, and international conferences.
