Jennifer Baggerly

Dr. Jennifer Baggerly is a Professor of Counseling at the University of North Texas-Dallas, where she trains graduate students in counseling and play therapy. She holds dual credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S).

Her research focuses on play therapy and disaster mental health interventions for children, with fieldwork spanning multiple international crises including Hurricane Katrina, the Sri Lanka tsunami, and Hurricane Maria. She maintains clinical practice through a local counseling agency to preserve professional skills.
