Mario Leone

Mario Leone serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Chapman University's George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics, bringing over three decades of global executive experience from Fortune 200 corporations to his academic role. He returned to full-time teaching in May 2023 after directing the Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship & Business Ethics, where he revitalized the university's entrepreneurship curriculum and oversaw Innovation labs.

His educational foundation includes:

• Master of Business Administration from Babson College

Professor Leone specializes in translating real-world business transformation expertise into classroom instruction, with research interests spanning Business Strategy, Information Systems, and operational optimization. His industry background in leading international technology implementations and supply chain transformations directly informs his practical teaching methodology across business process disciplines.

As former Director of the Leatherby Center (2019-2023), he engineered comprehensive curriculum modernization while maintaining active private sector engagement through board positions at Transient Plasma Systems and InterVision Systems. He has taught over 3,000 students across US and European campuses during his decade-long tenure, continuing executive advisory work that includes successfully engineering DocVerify's acquisition by Black Knight Inc. during the pandemic.
