Marina Ruseva

Marina Ruseva is an Instructional Assistant Professor at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. She is affiliated with the Finance Department and focuses on teaching and research related to corporate finance, executive compensation, and financial management.

Research Interests: Her work explores the intersection of executive equity compensation design, financial incentives, and corporate governance. Key areas include loan pricing, stock liquidity, corporate tax behavior, and the integration of data analytics into business education.

Publications: Recent research examines executive compensation mechanisms in private loans, stock liquidity impacts on CEO incentives, and the role of equity compensation in corporate tax strategies. She also contributes to pedagogical advancements in data analytics.
