Marina Chuchko is a Researcher affiliated with the University of Vienna's Department of Economic and Social History, where she held a Postdoc Researcher position from May 2022 to August 2024 as part of the ERC Project 'DATAREV'. Her work focuses on European Economic History, Eastern European History, Agricultural History, International Trade, and Political Economy.

Her current research explores European Agriculture and the Great Depression, Trade policy and famines in the late Russian Empire, and Labour conditions on the eve of the 1905 Revolution in Russia. She collaborates with the Institut d’Histoire Economique Paul Bairoch at Université de Genève and the Narrative Science network. Her publications analyze tariff policies, autocratic regimes, and trade balance corrections in historical contexts. She is a member of the French ANR project TOFLIT18.
