Marilyn Ang Uy

Marilyn Ang Uy serves as Provost's Chair in Entrepreneurship and tenured Associate Professor at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, where she heads the Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship.

She earned her Ph.D. from Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado at Boulder (USA). Her research centers on psychology of entrepreneurship, work motivation, and emotional well-being, utilizing longitudinal methodologies including experience sampling and multi-wave surveys.

Dr. Uy publishes in premier journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Journal of Business Venturing. She served as Editor of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice (2017-2023) and currently sits on editorial boards for Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Since 2011, she has secured over S$3.83 million in competitive research funding.
