Mariko Morimoto

Mariko Morimoto is the Huisking Foundation, Inc. Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. She joined in January 2025 after postdoctoral work at Stanford University and a PhD from UC Berkeley. Her research spans chemical immunology, glycobiology, and supramolecular chemistry.

Research Focus:

• Glycan-inspired small molecule design for immune modulation
• Chemically induced proximity to target tumor-associated macrophages
• Development of glycoproteomic tools for endometriosis diagnostics
