Maria Laura Bocaz

Maria Laura Bocaz is an Associate Professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Mary Washington (UMW). Her expertise centers on Latin American literary studies, with a focus on 20th-century narratives, the iconic Latin American Boom movement, and the works of Chilean author José Donoso through genetic criticism methodologies.
