Maria Domingo

Maria Domingo is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems within the School of Business at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). She specializes in taxation, with research focusing on international tax, digital economy taxation, and hybrid mismatch arrangements.

• Education: J.D. and LL.M. from New York University School of Law; M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall University; B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.

Her research addresses critical issues in tax compliance, technological disruptions, and educational outcomes. She has presented extensively at conferences like the Academy of Legal Studies in Business and published in journals such as Rutgers Business Law Review and North East Journal of Legal Studies.

She has received multiple teaching awards, including Beta Gamma Sigma Faculty Awards for 'Most Engaging Classroom Environment' and 'Most Inspirational Instructor', and the Emerald Publishing Literati Award.

Maria serves on various committees, including the Accounting Department Promotion and Reappointment Committee and the School of Business Curriculum Committee, and is a faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi.
