Dr. Margery Fee is a Professor in the Department of English Language & Literatures and holds key roles at the University of British Columbia (UBC), including chairing the Canadian Studies Program and directing the interdisciplinary Arts One program. She earned her PhD in Canadian literary history from the University of Toronto (1981). Her research focuses on Canadian literature, Indigenous studies, and sociolinguistics, with notable contributions to First Nations literatures and critiques of cultural appropriation.
