Maresha Grewal

Maresha Grewal is a Lecturer (Teaching) in Physical Education and Coaching, and Course Leader for the Physical Education and Sports Coaching program at the University of Worcester's School of Sport and Exercise Science. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Coaching Science, an MRes in Socio-Cultural Studies in Sport and Exercise, and a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education. Her qualifications also include coaching certifications in Taekwondo, multi-sports, and gym instruction.

• Research Focus: Inclusivity in Taekwondo for disability and ethnic minorities, post-pandemic physical activity, and teacher mental health.
• Teaching Interests: Physical Education, Sports Coaching, Research Methods, Socio-cultural Issues in Sport, and Sport Psychology.

Mareshal has led her own Taekwondo club since 2017 and coached at regional/national levels, including shadow coaching the GB Taekwondo Junior Olympic Squad. She actively balances academic work with competitive Taekwondo participation in patterns, sparring, and team events.
