Marc Lynch is a Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University, where he directs the Institute for Middle East Studies and the Project on Middle East Political Science (POMEPS). He holds a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University and an M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from Duke University.
