Marat Markin

Marat Markin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at California State University, Fresno (since August 2020). Previously, he held roles including Assistant Professor (2016–2020), Part-Time Lecturer (2013–2016), and Supernumerary Research Fellow at the Institute of Mathematics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2002–2012). He earned his Ph.D. in Physico-Mathematical Sciences from the Institute of Mathematics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and an M.S. in Mathematics from Kiev State University.

Research Interests: Functional Analysis, Operator Theory, Differential Equations in Abstract Spaces, Semigroups of Operators, Hypercyclicity, and Linear Chaos. His work explores topics such as spectral operators, ultradifferentiability of solutions, and operator dynamics in Banach spaces.

Publications: Over 30 peer-reviewed papers in journals like Open Math, Methods of Functional Analysis and Topology, and International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences. Recent focuses include hypercyclicity in function spaces and Gevrey ultradifferentiability of weak solutions.
