Manuel Kaufmann is an Associate Professor in the Contemporary Writing and Production Department at Berklee College of Music. A composer, arranger, and bassist, he leads the Manduca Sexta Jazz Orchestra and Nonet, focusing on post-bop originals and innovative arrangements of the Great American Songbook. His compositions and arrangements, sold globally, have been performed across the U.S. and international venues in Spain, Switzerland, Israel, China, Mexico, and Finland.
