Shane Adams

Shane Adams is an Associate Professor at the Songwriting and Production department of Berklee College of Music's online division, Berklee Online. He is also President of Artist Accelerator, a Nashville-based music education and industry support organization. His career spans over 30 years in the music industry, with expertise in songwriting, music production, and music education. Adams is internationally recognized for co-developing the Taylor Swift Education Center's Words and Music and Songwriting 101 programs.

Adams' research and creative work focus on lyrical craftsmanship, prosody (the interplay of lyrics and melody), and empowering musicians through home studio recording methodologies. His book, The Singer-Songwriter’s Guide to Recording in the Home Studio, guides artists in independent production. His songs explore themes of human vulnerability, self-doubt, and emotional resilience, blending poetic lyricism with dynamic orchestration.
