Mansour Haeryfar

Mansour Haeryfar is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University's Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. His research investigates innate-like and adaptive T cell responses in cancer, viral pathogens, and bacterial infections, with specialized focus on iNKT and MAIT cells, CD8+ cytotoxic T cells, cancer immunology, immunotherapy, and sepsis-mediated inflammation.

Recent publications demonstrate research trends in immunotherapeutic approaches for melanoma, viral immunity mechanisms, and autoimmune disorder pathogenesis. His work combines preclinical models with clinical samples to develop novel immunotherapies and vaccination strategies.

Laboratory capabilities include advanced cellular immunology techniques, preclinical disease modeling, and clinical sample analysis through collaborations with University Hospital Bonn.
