Manbinder Sidhu

Dr Manbinder Sidhu serves as a Research Fellow at the Health Services Management Centre (HSMC), University of Birmingham, and is affiliated with the BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre. His work involves conducting evaluations of health service interventions to enhance patient care and system efficiency across the National Health Service.

His primary research interests include:

• Patient experience and service evaluation for individuals with multiple morbidities
• Weight management programmes targeting high-risk populations
• Cultural adaptation of behavioural change and lifestyle interventions
• Evaluating novel models of primary care service delivery

Dr Sidhu's current research focuses on assessing new approaches to primary care, particularly in the context of evolving healthcare demands and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. His work within the BRACE Rapid Evaluation Centre emphasizes rapid evidence generation to support urgent health policy decisions through NIHR-funded projects evaluating interventions for vulnerable populations.
