Dr. Malcolm Doupe is a Professor in Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba's Max Rady College of Medicine, with cross-appointments in Emergency Medicine. He serves as Senior Research Scientist at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy and directs the Manitoba Training Program in Health Services Research.
His research examines:
- Healthcare transitions for older adults
- Comparative health system analysis
- Long-term care outcomes
Current projects include subacute care hospital transitions, nursing home-to-emergency department interventions, and cross-provincial comparisons of elderly care systems.
