Maja V. Krstic Ristivojevic

Maja V. Krstic Ristivojevic is a Researcher at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. She holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences (2020) from the same institution, complemented by Master's (2012) and Bachelor's (2011) degrees. Her career progression includes roles as Assistant (2013), Professional Associate (2013-2014), Independent Technical Assistant (2014-2016), and Research Associate (2017-present). She works in Laboratory 403 and serves on the Faculty Council since June 2023.

Research Focus: Dr. Krstic Ristivojevic investigates environmental toxicology (microplastics/PFAS impacts on allergic diseases), proteomics (allergen characterization), and sustainable food science (algae-based meat cultivation). Her interdisciplinary work bridges analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and clinical immunology.
