Maitrayee Basu

Dr. Maitrayee Basu serves as a Lecturer of Race and Media at the School of Media and Communication, University of Leeds, a position she assumed in August 2023 after previously holding a Senior Lecturer role at the University of the Arts, London.

Her academic credentials include:

Her research critically examines intersections of race, digital technologies, and transnational feminisms through postcolonial and decolonial frameworks.
