Mahrukh Mirza

Mahrukh Mirza is Lecturer in Clinical Education at the University of Plymouth's Peninsula Medical School. Her work centers on inclusivity in clinical education and digital health innovations.

Research explores widening participation challenges, technology-enhanced learning, and co-created health interventions. She leads modules on Technology Enhanced Learning and Contemporary Issues in Clinical Education.

Recent collaborations include European projects on social innovations for healthy aging and analyses of barriers facing underrepresented medical students. Publications employ mixed methods to evaluate educational equity and community health initiatives.

Chairs the Racial Equality Charter and serves on the Faculty Research Ethics Committee.
