Dr. Mahdi Hasani is an Assistant Research Professor in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University. His research focuses on biologically inspired immunomodulatory biomaterials, engineering advanced drug delivery systems for cancer therapy, infectious diseases, autoimmune conditions, and tissue regeneration. He explores innovative engineering platforms aimed at rejuvenating the immune system.
Dr. Hasani holds two B.Sc. degrees in Polymer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, two M.Sc. degrees in Polymer Engineering and Bioengineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and EPFL respectively, and two Ph.D. degrees in Polymer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering-Bioengineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and Georgia Institute of Technology.
