Magdi Awad

Magdi Awad, Pharm.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He concurrently serves as Director of Pharmacy Services at AxessPointe Community Health Center, where he oversees clinical operations and 340B pharmacies. His educational background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota, a Master’s in Pharmacy Administration from NEOMED, and a fellowship in academic medicine.

Research Focus: Dr. Awad’s scholarship centers on three key areas:

• Ambulatory care service optimization
• Pharmacy administration workflows
• 340B program implementation

He has secured grants for ambulatory care research and publishes on community health interventions.
