Magdalena Hoffmann

Dr. Magdalena Hoffmann is the Head of Studies and Lecturer for the continuing education programs 'Philosophy and Management' and 'Philosophy and Medicine' at the University of Lucerne since 2014. She holds a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Bonn (2007), focusing on Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. Her academic journey includes roles as a research assistant at the University of Zurich, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bern, and a visiting scholar at NYU. She is a member of the Cantonal Ethics Commission of Bern and represents the University of Lucerne in swissuni and the Lucerne Conference for Adult Education.
