Dr. Magalie Alcindor is an Assistant Professor in the Nursing department at York College, CUNY. She holds a PhD in Nursing Education from Capella University, an MS in Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Lehman College, and a BS in Nursing from SUNY Health Science Center. Her research focuses on the educational experiences of foreign-born nursing students, particularly Haitian immigrants, and cultural competency in healthcare.
