Maeve Mullooly

Maeve Mullooly is a Lecturer and Health Research Board Emerging Investigator at RCSI's School of Population Health. Her integrative research program focuses on breast cancer epidemiology, risk factor analysis, tumor heterogeneity, and precision prevention strategies.

Her publications demonstrate strong focus on breast cancer screening, risk modeling, and healthcare disruptions during COVID-19. Recent work examines mammographic density patterns, treatment accessibility during pandemics, and risk stratification for women with benign breast disease.

Awards include the AACR Next Gen Star Award (2020) and HRB Emerging Investigator funding. She leads research projects on cancer risk factors and pandemic impacts funded by Irish Cancer Society and EU grants.
