Madhumani Rupasinghe

Madhumani Rupasinghe, MBBS is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), specializing in Obstetric Anesthesiology.

Dr. Rupasinghe received her medical degree from University of Bombay, India and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthetists (FRCA), London with Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST), UK.

Her research focuses on Obstetric Anesthesiology, particularly in the areas of:

• Neuraxial anesthesia techniques for labor and delivery
• Management of complications during obstetric anesthesia
• Pain management strategies for cesarean sections
• Anesthetic considerations for high-risk obstetric patients
