Kristen L. Fardelmann

Dr. Kristen L. Fardelmann is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital. She holds a medical degree (MD) from the University of Connecticut (2013) and a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the same institution. Dr. Fardelmann completed her Anesthesiology residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center (2017) and a fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (2018).

Her research focuses on obstetric anesthesia, perioperative pain management, maternal-fetal medicine, and critical care in pregnancy. Key areas include optimizing cesarean delivery analgesia, managing opioid use disorders during pregnancy, and applying rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) to assess coagulopathy in obstetric populations.
