MARIA ROSANA ALVAREZ RODRIGUEZ

MARIA ROSANA ALVAREZ RODRIGUEZ is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Vigo, Spain, affiliated with the Department of Organic Chemistry and the Biomedical Research Center. Her academic career focuses on organic chemistry, with a special emphasis on stereochemical synthesis and bioactive compounds.

She earned her doctorate in 1997 from the University of Vigo, completing a thesis titled Stereocontrolled synthesis and properties of biologically active polyenes, supervised by Dr. Angel Rodríguez de Lera.
