Angel Rodriguez de Lera

Angel Rodriguez de Lera is a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Vigo, Spain. He works within the Department of Organic Chemistry and is affiliated with the Biomedical Research Center on the Vigo campus.

• Education: PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1983), with a thesis on the Total synthesis of cularins, supervised by Dr. Luis Castedo Expósito.

His research focuses on Organic Chemistry, particularly in chemical synthesis and biomedical applications. As a member of the QO1 Organic Chemistry 1 research group, he contributes to advancing synthetic methodologies in organic compounds.
