M. George Eichenberg

Dr. M. George Eichenberg is Professor and Assistant Department Chair in Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. He holds a PhD in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and brings extensive field experience from his law enforcement career.

Research focuses on:

• Criminal justice ethics and police operations
• Management of criminal justice organizations
• Historical aspects of social control
• Native Americans in criminal justice systems

Teaching includes courses in Criminal Law, Criminology, Correctional Institutions, Police Management, and Homeland Security. Awards include the O.A. Grant Excellence in Teaching Award (2014).
