M. Faisal Hossain

Dr. M. Faisal Hossain is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Assistant Director of Research (PharmD) at Appalachian College of Pharmacy. His career spans academia, research, and the pharmaceutical industry.

• Education: B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh; Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dhaka University's Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.

His research focuses on drug development, analytical chemistry, and clinical pharmacy, with expertise in FDA-regulated ANDA analytical methods. He launched two peer-reviewed journals: International Journal of Compounding in Therapeutics and American Journal of Natural Medicine Facts, emphasizing scholarly communication and student mentorship.

• Scientific Awards: Research scholarship from Unimed & Unihealth Manufacturers Ltd., Bangladesh.

Dr. Hossain combines practical industry experience from roles at Renata and Beximco Pharmaceuticals with academic leadership at Marshall University and Appalachian College of Pharmacy.
